The Bee's Knees Honey Jar, a family activity for the Jewish holiday of Rosh HaShanah

This simple craft will have your Rosh HaShanah table all abuzz. A fast craft using Fimo or play dough turns an ordinary honey jar into something bee-utiful.

Materials

Small honey jar with a lid
Black, yellow, and white Fimo or play dough

Directions:

  1. Make a bee using the Fimo or play dough. Use yellow for the body and head, black for stripes on the body, tail, and antennae, and white for the eyes.
  2. Attach the bee to the top of the honey jar.
  3. Display prominently on your Rosh HaShanah table.
