Dr. Becki Cohn-Vargas

Dr. Becki Cohn-Vargas is a member of Congregation Beth El in Berkeley, California, where she serves on the Board as the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She has retired after a varied career of 35 years in public schools as a Spanish bilingual teacher, principal, and superintendent, and has authored four books on identity safe teaching. She lives in California and is married, has three adult children, and two grandchildren.
