Hannah Szabó

Hannah Gendler Szabó (she/her) is a graduating senior at Yale studying Comparative Literature and Computational Linguistics. She served as co-organizer of the Slifka Center Jewish Women's Conference in April 2024, which received an award from Hillel International for Dynamic Jewish Education. Hannah attended URJ Eisner Camp in Great Barrington, Massachusetts for eight summers, where she was the first transgender person in the country to attend a traditional sleepaway camp in the cabin of her affirmed gender. Her story has been featured in Scientific American, Haaretz, and The Jewish Forward.
