Josephine Varon

Josephine Varon (she/her) is the current co-president and social action vice president of NFTY Northwest. She lives in Portland, Oregon. Josephine’s involvement with NFTY began when in 7th grade, and she has been very involved in the Reform Jewish youth movement ever since. She helped to plan West Coast Party 2025 and is currently working on planning several regional and multi-regional events. Outside of NFTY, Josephine is actively involved in her school’s newspaper and yearbook staff with a strong passion for journalism and photography, especially sports photography. She also loves to bake, travel, and explore the outdoors. Through NFTY, Josephine has found a strong sense of kehilla (community), manhigut (leadership), and kavanah (purpose).
