Laura Solomon is a senior major gifts officer at the Center for Reproductive Rights. She is an 18-year member of Brooklyn Heights Synagogue in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she currently serves on the Security Task Force and is a former board and executive committee member. She is the proud mother of Madeline and Zoe Mardiks, both very active in URJ Youth programming, including NFTY in IsraelNFTY-NAR, and more than a decade as campers and on staff at URJ Crane Lake Camp.
