Rabbi Philip Bazeley (he/him) is the senior rabbi at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick, NJ where he started as the assistant rabbi after he was ordained at HUC-NY in 2012. While at HUC, he also earned his MA in Religious Education. In addition to his pulpit work, Philip also serves as the co-chair of the Core Leadership Team of RAC-NJ and serves on the local board of AJC-NJ and is a co-chair of Federation in The Heart of NJ’s Jewish Community Relations Council. Philip and his wife Alyson live in Highland Park, NJ with their sons, Gavin and Matthew.
Right before Sukkot, I noticed the word "JEW" carved into my sidewalk. I began to grind out the word, but rather decided to replace the space by adding "Proud JEWs" to the sidewalk.
