Sharon Morton

Sharon Morton, RJE is the Founder and Executive Director of Grandparents for Social Action. Prior to that, she worked for 32 years as the Director of Religious Education at Am Shalom in Glencoe, Illinois with a specialty in social action work. She has participated in social action trips to Poland, Israel, Cuba, El Salvador and Russia and is an inspirational storyteller and social action speaker throughout the United States. Sharon has also served on the boards of Avenue of the Righteous, American Jewish Committee Interfaith Education and National Commission on Social Action. She was the President of the National Association of Temple Educators. She is herself a grandmother of five grandchildren, ages 4-16 years.
