Holy One of Blessing…
When Israel is suffering
Way over there,
And our people are in turmoil
And we are right here
When the news is heart-wrenching
And so little is clear
Grant us the fortitude,
The courage, the care
To educate others
So they are aware
To declare solidarity with Israel
Amidst the overflowing of tears
To lobby for our government's aid
Amidst burgeoning warfare
And to give our own tzedekah
For we have so much to share
To show up at vigils
Which brings hope much more near
And to invite many others
For their presence is dear
And Holy One, O Holy One,
Remind us what we do
When the pain's so hard to bear
We hope, yes we hope
That's how we push through the fear
