10Q: Reflect, React, Renew

“Just read my answers last night – what a difference a year makes! It's kind of mind-blowing.”

“This is a great exercise to undertake as we enter the Jewish new year. I just got my answers back from last year, and I'm thrilled to read I have met one of my major life goals.”

“Most of the things I was worried about never came to pass. I did have some good momentum in areas I thought would be bigger challenges, but I'm also stuck on some things I thought I'd have sorted out by now. I'd totally forgotten about my 10Q answers, and it's given me a shot of motivation to do some priority mapping today.”

“Reading my answers was eye-popping because so many of them were SPOT ON! Thank you for creating this amazing arena of self exploration!”

“A phenomenal gift that you can give yourself. After reviewing my answers to these questions a year ago, I was moved, inspired, and encouraged.”

These are just some of the sentiments people posted to Facebook last year when their 10Q answers were returned to them.

What is 10Q? It’s 10 questions in 10 days. Answer one question per day – the days between Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur – in your own secret online 10Q space. At the end of the 10 days, send your answers to the secure online 10Q vault for safekeeping. One year later, the vault will open, and your answers will be delivered to your email inbox for private reflection.

As 10Q rolls around, I always get excited to hear how the project has made a difference in people’s lives. From dating to births to divorces to deaths, 10Q is a powerful tool to help people reflect from year to year. Created by Nicola Behrman, Ben Greenman, and Amelia Klein, 10Q takes the essence of the High Holiday experience and creates a space of intention outside of traditional Jewish life. It is personal and guilt-free. It is a space that is your own and is whatever you make of it.

You’re invited to participate in the sixth year of this online project. Sign up to participate personally and to share this project with your community. You can also attend a handful of 10Q live events around the country. We look forward to hearing your reactions.
