Decorated Honey Drippers for fulfilling Jewish customs on Rosh HaShanah

Honey stays on your table until after Sukkot. Dish it out in style!

Ages 2-8

Materials:

Wooden honey dripper (can be bought at many art supply or Judaica stores)
Bee stickers
Apple stickers
Glitter paints (or any paint that can easily be applied)

Instructions:

For younger kids, ages 2-4

  1. Decorate the top of the honey dripper with bee or apple stickers.
  2. Discuss the significance of honey on Rosh HaShanah.

For older kids, ages 5-8

  1. Apply a base coat of paint.
  2. Decorate the top of the honey dripper with glitter paints.
  3. Add decorative detailing.
