Saturday morning and the peeps are here
It’s time for Shabbat – let me get a cheer
We’ll talk about Moses, Aaron, the Levites too
Ayyoo Matt, you know what to do
Just a quick rewind, throwback to Chukat
For so many people, it wasn’t so hot
Miriam and Aaron died, it was their time to go
Moses wanted the Promised Land, God said no
All the Israelites moving gave Balak a scare
Just wasn’t sure how his Moabites would fare
So he called Balam, he had a big ask
It wasn’t very easy, it was quite the task
Following orders, Balam set out
To curse the Israelites and make them all go and pout
But then there’s the donkey that makes Balam see
Being with God’s angel is the place to be
Now here’s where the twist in the story goes
Balam stepped to the Israelites to strike a pose
But instead of curses, all love came out
Balam blessed Israel without a doubt
We appreciate the love though you aren’t here
We miss you dearly, the summer was all cheer
Kutz Camp is home for one and all
Let’s keep it going each week, we’ll have a ball
Thanks for listening to our seventh rap
Stay tuned for more, we’re putting ourselves on the map
This has been your – Shabbat Sha’Rap!
