  • Va-eira for Teens: Shabbat Sha-raps

    Va-eira, Exodus 6:2−9:35

Ever wanted to see how relatable the Torah really is? Counselors at URJ Kutz Camp, a Reform Jewish leadership camp for teens ,wanted to do just that. They made awesome raps discussing the weekly Torah portion, or parasha, for an entire year!

God enlists Moses and Aaron to tell the people they will be freed, and they show God’s power to the Egyptians. The first seven plagues occur, and each time Pharaoh says he will not let the Israelites go. Listen to the rap to hear the first 7 plagues!
