Founded by Sarah Lefton in 2008 (as G-dcast), BimBam was a nonprofit media studio located in Oakland, CA whose digital storytelling continues to spark connections to Judaism for learners of all ages. Though BimBam ceased operations in 2019, their over 400 original videos continue to live on and engage new generations, here on ReformJudaism.org and on their YouTube channel, as well as their Shaboom! YouTube channel.

In this sneeze-filled episode, we find the magical Sparks Gabi and Rafi fighting off their own colds while they help the Plony family realize that Grandpa needs cheering up in the hospital. Gabi’s sniffles manage to misdirect her magic to hilarious effect. A rainstorm of chicken soup and a flock of quacking ducks eventually persuade the family to visit Grandpa.

Accusations fly and tears fall as the cloud playhouse and Plony home confront the chaos of careless apologies and misplaced blame. A laser beam trap and giant basketball magically help Rafi and Ben learn that sometimes just saying sorry isn’t enough.
