What is the URJ Israel Teen Fellowship?

The URJ Teen Israel Organizing Fellowship brings together Jewish teens (ages 14–18) who want to explore, connect with, and organize around Israel—while growing as leaders in their communities.

Launched just weeks before October 7, 2023, the Fellowship has evolved to meet this moment, offering a brave and thoughtful space to learn, reflect, and lead. Today, when conversations about Israel are more urgent and important than ever, Fellows are empowered to engage with complexity, empathy, deepen their understanding, and take meaningful action.

This program provides the tools, relationships, and guidance to help teens navigate the realities of Israel and lead with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

Fellows will:

  • Attend the Hineni Seminar at the Collab, held at URJ Greene Family Camp in Texas,  (November 7–10, 2025)
  • Meet regularly with a dedicated mentor who will support you throughout your Fellowship journey
  • Design and implement a community organizing project on a topic related to Israel that matters to you
