The URJ Teen Fellowships are a diverse range of offerings designed to help teens learn, grow, make an impact, and build community in a way that reflects their interests and passions. In the 2025-2026 school year, there are four different fellowships for teens to choose from: Madrichim Fellowship (in partnership with ARJE), RAC Teen Justice Fellowship, Teen Israel Fellowship (US-Based), & Teen Jews of Color Fellowship. RAC Teen Justice Fellowship

The RAC Teen Justice Fellowship is a wonderful experience for teens in 9-12th grade to connect with other social justice leaders, explore their passions, gain advocacy experience, and have a great leadership experience for their college application. This fellowship meets for six one-hour sessions and culminates in fellows designing and implementing an organizing project in their community. There are two Justice Fellowship cohorts per year, one in the fall and one in the spring.

Teen Jews of Color Fellowship

The Teen Jews of Color Fellowship is a transformative experience for 11th and 12th graders that offers an inclusive and vibrant space for participants to explore and engage with all their intersecting identities, form community, cultivate leadership skills, and create meaningful projects based on their learnings. We welcome all who have racial or ethnic identities and heritages that are generally on the margins of Reform community. These include (but are not limited to) mixed race Jews, transracial adoptees, Asian, Black, Latine, Sephardic, Mizrachi, Persian Jews, and many others.

Teen Israel Fellowship (US-Based)

The Teen Israel Fellowship (US-based) is a five-month program offers an incredible opportunity for teens (grades 9-12) to join a community of teens who are curious about Israel, eager to gain tools to speak about it with clarity and complexity, and ready to engage deeply with the issues they care about most. If you’re passionate about social change, leadership, and Israel, this is the place for you!

Here you will connect with others who share your passions, help shape conversations and actions around Israel in your community and launch your own organizing project—supported by a mentor and grounded in everything you’ve learned along the way.

Please note that all Fellowship participants are required to participate in our Hineni seminar which takes place at The Collab, November 7-10, at Greene Family Camp in Texas. Generous subsidies are available to all TIOF participants.
