Purim is a happy holiday that affirms Jewish survival and continuity throughout history. This cocktail, named for the noisemakers we use to drown out Haman's name, serves as a bit of a pick-me-up, packed with a punch. L’chaim!

Ingredients:
4 oz. pineapple juice
1 ½ oz. vodka
½ teaspoon curry powder
½ teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon cream
2 dashes Tabasco Sauce
4 oz. crushed ice
Directions:
  1. Pour all ingredients into a blender
  2. Blend for 10 seconds on high speed.
  3. Pour into a chilled old-fashioned glass.
  4. Dust with cayenne pepper
