Homemade Israeli Bamba

A favorite Israeli snack is Bamba, which is perfect to enjoy on Yom Ha'atzmaut, Israel Independence Day. You can make a delicious version of this poppable, Israeli snack right in your home, no trip to Israel needed.

½ cup peanut butter (or peanut butter substitute)
¼ cup maple syrup or honey
1 cup shaved coconut
1 tsp. salt

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients into a sticky yet stable dough. Roll into golf ball-sized balls and place on a baking sheet or other flat dish, Put in the fridge for 30 minutes or until hardened. Enjoy!
