Theories about the timing of recent rocket attacks by Hamas and Islamic Jihad into Israel are numerous. Whatever the cause, they have done little to promote peace.

My congregation has set a collective goal of becoming a 100% voting community. We believe that this act of voting is sacred. 

We are convinced that our tradition calls upon us to support immigration policy that is compassionate and fair.

Now more than ever, we need spiritual voices of all faiths teaching us messages of justice and compassion. From a Jewish religious perspective, what does "repairing the fallen walls" mean?

I feel that it is time that we, as rabbis and as a Jewish community, begin to speak more about the environmental advantages of a traditional Jewish burial.
